Several death threats have been directed against the family of a 41 year old male, charged with bludgeoning a 45 year old male to death, in last Saturdays violent brawl in Lillestrøm.A forty one year old male was arrested for four weeks on Tuesday afternoon. The accused has been denied basic visitation rights, and the first two weeks will be spent in solitary confinement.
Armed police officers are currently standing guard outside the house owned by the family of the forty one year old.
Several serious threats have been directed at his family after it became known that the 45 year old wouldn’t recover from his injuries.
-We are not going to reveal where the threats came from, but there have been threats directed at the accused’s family, says Bjørn Teigen of Romerike police precinct.-
Last days threats have been made via the telephone.
The police fear that the families who took part in Saturday’s brawl will arrange a new fight, to avenge the death of the deceased.
-Representatives from the police have been in contact with several family members, and we’ll see what comes out of this says Teigen.-
Armed police officers have guarded the family house of the forty one year old since last night. The police do not wish to reveal the extent of this mission.
-We’ve taken some precautions, but I don’t want to go into specifics. We just hope that the families will start to see reason, and solve this conflict by peaceful means says the police superintendent.-
The forty five year old who died from the injuries he received in Saturdays fight, leaves behind eight children. Witnesses say that he was hit in the head with a baseball bat while he was lying on the ground. The police performed CPR on him on the spot, but to no avail. After spending three days in a respirator at Ullevål hospital, doctors decided to switch off the power.
According to his family, the forty five year old was there to stop the fight.
Twenty four people were brought into police custody after the brawl. All of them have now been released, except from the forty one year old, who’s been charged with manslaughter. The others are only charged with taking part in the fight.
The indictment could change at a later stage in the investigation says police lawyer Tonje Tønder.
The police are confident that it was the forty one year old who dealt the fatal blows that ended the life of the forty five year old. The accused denies any wrong doing. His court appointed lawyer Jan Schjatvet did not wish to reveal what his client had told him
This is an ongoing investigation. It’s important that the information from the court hearing doesn’t reach the public, says Schjatvet.
The police believe that the two families will start to see reason, and solve their feud with peaceful means.... The thing that set if off in the first place were some unfriendly remarks about a female family member. One person has now been killed. I don’t think we’ve seen the end of this, I think we’ve just seen the start of it. This is what happens when a civilized nation opens up its borders to people who mentally still lives in the dark ages.

Why don't they put all the family member in a football stadion and let them go to it. you could charge admission and help pay for the cost to the Norwegian state that these animal have cost and rid the state of the cost of keeping the remaining spawn in idleness. Norway deserves better than this. I am not usually like this but when I see these people dragging there middle age bagage with them into a civilised society my blood just boil.
Deport them all.
Norway will be a better place.
He left behind 8 children, which the country of Norway will now support in a style they could previously only dream of. Another
fine example of the wonderful benefits these hard-working immigrants bring to the country.
