We need to declare war on the Islamists

There have been times when I’ve been convinced that Norway is a lost cause. There have been times when I’ve been convinced that Norway will fall into the hands of the Muslims, but I’ve snapped out of such dismal thoughts pretty quickly. I firmly believe that Norway will overcome its problems, and once again rise to its former glory, with a strong majority of ethnic Norwegians. It’s in times of troubles that one usually start looking for the light at the end of the tunnel.

I believe we’re there now. I believe that ordinary Norwegians have had enough, and that they’re desperately looking for that light. Luckily for us, we have a political party that knows exactly what kind of problems we as a nation are facing, and they’re not afraid to address these. I believe that Norway will follow in the footsteps of Denmark in a couple of years, and start the long walk back to sanity.

Here’s a letter to the editor of Aftenposten, one of Norway’s biggest newspapers, written by FRP (progress party) MP Ulf Erik Knudsen.

I’ve translated it into English.

We need to declare war on the Islamists.

It is essential that we come to terms with the fact that Europe is under constant attack from militant Islamists, who represent nothing but pure evil. We as Europeans, are committing collective suicide if we don’t start fighting back.

We haven’t taken the threat from Islamic terrorists seriously. We’ve been very naive. They’ve come to our territories claiming that they’re political refugees. We’ve given them political asylum and let them take advantage of our welfare systems. They on the other hand have established themselves here and set up bases in our countries. Bases from where they can wage their holy war on the people of Europe.

Terror networks in Europe

A recent study published by the Military research institute ought to stand as a grim warning. The author of the study, researcher Petter Nesser, reveals in this study how Al-Qaida started setting up cells on our continent many years ago. This is how he describe these European Jihad cells,

“The Islamic terror cells have been active for several years on the European mainland. Their goal is to orchestrate spectacular terror attacks on European soil. Most of these groups take their inspiration from Al-Qaida, and some of them have close links to Osama Bin Laden and his terror organizations. There’s several hundreds of them. The members of these groups haven’t got any mental barriers at all, and wouldn’t hesitate in carrying out mass murder. They’re part of a tightly knit terror network that’s got branches all over Europe. They view themselves as the spearhead in the fight to build an Islamic world state, the Kalifat.

Holy war

The researcher goes on:

“Most members of the terror groups that we have studied are part of a greater network, and they all share an extreme interpretation of Islam. The so-called salafi-jihad branch, a branch that denounce any deviation from the pure teaching... It is antijewish, antichristian and is against all other branches of Islam, including the shia branch. Through holy war-jihad, they intend to conquer and defeat those who they see as infidels.”

Active groups

These terror groups are found in every European countries with a large Muslim population. They’ve also established themselves in Norway. The groups are small, but very active. There’s a feature in their ideology that makes it very hard to expose them: The so-called “taqiyya”. Taqiyya enables fanatical Islamists to dress in western clothes, consume alcohol, and behave like well integrated immigrants, and disguise their true intentions from the infidels. The Koran describes how the righteous Muslim shall subjugate the infidels with a hard hand, and eliminate those who refuse to be subdued. Many Islamists have deliberately immigrated to Europe to be able to wage jihad here, and our liberal asylum laws have helped them do so.

Terror acts that have been stopped.

According to the Military research institute, several dozens large terrorist plots have already been stopped. But as we all know, some haven’t. It’s not a question about if we’ll see acts of terror in Scandinavia, but when. And when this happens, the Norwegian public opinion will shift, and people will finally understand what the Israelis are up against. Evil terror groups like Hamas and Hizballah.

The FRP will most likely be the biggest political party in Norway in 2009.

Observer --

This is amazing. Amazingly great. If someone just speaks the truth there will be an answering groundswell of support, I've always believed -- I look forward to seeing the response to this brave piece in Norway.

How big is the FRP now?

there is the red herring again . . .'extreme interpretation of islam' . . .

ISLAM IS EXTREME! Moderation in islam is the aberration. There is not a believing Muslim who does not accept that Muhammad is the Perfect Man, uswa hasana, al-insan al-kamil, the Model for All Muslims For All Time.

We have to do the same thing in Canada. We are so afraid of the condemnation of "racism" that few dare say anything against Islam even after 17 and now 18 Muslims have been arrested for planning to kill hundreds of Canadians. Unfortunately it seems it will take the success of such a plot to wake us up, and even THEN I have my doubts...

Ironsides,

The FRP received 22,1 percent of the overall votes in the 2005 National election. In a recent poll from march 2006, carried out by VG (major Norwegian newspaper), 34,5 percent of the people asked said they would vote for the FRP. This is a big jump, and it gives hope for the future.

There hasn’t really been any angry response to this piece. It looks like people are starting to wake up.

:-)

This is a remarkable piece, coming as it does from a member of Parliament! The best part of the piece, however, the very best part, is the part about Europeans finally coming to understand what Israel faces everyday. Why this realization should take so long is beyond me.

Similarly (in the sense it evidences people in Europe and England saying out loud what every non-dhimmi non-lefty PC freak knows to be true) good piece by R. Littlejohn in Daily Mail today:

But the question is -- how much worse wil it get before the defense of our liberties, and the counterattack against the Islamists and their lefty allies begins?

If you consider that Muslims can have 2-4 wives, and EU and US populations continue to decline due to abortion, etc., just the sheer numbers will allow them to take over someday...frightening.
