I think that "diseased" should read "deceased", unless she was infectious at the time of death?
But, picky spelling aside, great blog. I have a close friend in Norway who, when I asked her, admitted that violence had soared in the past ten years in Norway, but couldn't say why. Blogs like yours are important, not just for us overseas but also for those in Norway itself.
Anonymous,
Thanks for the praise. Regarding my spelling, I guess it will never be 100 percent perfect, after all, my native tongue is Norwegian, and not English. What’s important to me however, is that I can make myself understood, and give readers a taste of the Norwegian “madness project” that’s currently transforming my country from a well functioning welfare state to a proper third world hellhole.
"According to P4 (Norwegian news channel) the diseased woman . . . "
Should be deceased (dead), not diseased (ill or sick).
Oops, sorry for the duplicate -- I should have read the other feedback before I posted.
I was born in Oslo but lived all my life in the USA (currently in Colorado Springs, Colorado). I'm interested in what goes on in Norway and appreciate your blog. I also read the Aftenposten but they are not very analytical, at least in the English version (I do not speak Norwegian). Anyway, thanks for your blog.
